Become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

  • Hands-on CNA training offered through a collaborative partnership between Senior Citizens Inc., Edel Caregiver Institute, and Savannah Technical College

  • 8-9 week certification program

  • Weekend classes

  • January 24, 2026 start date (next program begins in May, 2026)

  • Classes held on-site at Senior Citizens Inc. & Savannah Technical Labs in Garden City

  • Accreditation through Savannah Technical College

  • Open to community members

  • Specialized dementia and elder care skills training

For those who qualify, Scholarship Support is available:

  • Tuition assistance.

  • CAT Bus Vouchers

  • Childcare assistance

  • Employment opportunities with Hospice Savannah or Senior Citizens Inc after successful program completion and CNA certification.
