Johnnetta Betsch Cole, Ph.D.—anthropologist, educator, museum director, and college president—will join Learning Center member Wanda Lloyd in a conversation about the heritage of Abraham Lincoln Lewis, Dr. Cole's great-grandfather, an entrepreneur, humanitarian, philanthropist, and Florida's first African American millionaire. Over his lifetime, Lewis established many businesses, and he founded American Beach, a vacation destination for African Americans during the days of segregation.
